I know I'm forgetting something Important today...

Oh, right, I'm supposed to VOTE today.

OK. Here's my problem.
I do keep up with politics a little.
I listen to news on the radio.
I try to be a good citizen.
We should all vote, or we have no leg to stand on when it comes to complaining about politics.

But, I'll be honest, I don't always feel like voting.
And I don't always feel like my vote will make a difference.

And, if I don't vote, I feel guilty.

Did you know that in some countries people can't vote?
And in some countries it's a requirement to vote between the ages of 18 and 70 years old?
I wonder what the punishment is for not voting...

I need to vote.
It's my duty as a good citizen.
And I'm honored to have that right.
Damnit.

I'll do it after work today.
I've talked myself into it.

I do sincerely hope you have somebody worth voting _for_.
That's the problem, I think. Nobody on the ballot you'd actually like to see in office. No laws you can figure out what a No or a Yes really means.
But don't give up!
All the best.

I always vote in presidential elections. I'm guilty of not voting in every election. I really should change that, too.

I vote in most elections. For awhile I was just voting my party. Then I made a change on the local level and went with an Independent or two. This election, I voted for a couple local people and our state's Congressman but didn't really do much research on the other candidates so I didn't support any of them.
I answered the ballot question also. If I understand what it's asking, as sometimes the wording is sooooo confusing, I will answer it but have not answered it during some other elections.

There are days when I feel that my vote does count and I'm comfortable with the basic ideals of the party I'm supporting and then there are other times that I feel it's all a conspiracy and the greedy rich bankers and other ultra powerful people control everything and we're only pawns. LOL
