Fierce Fashion Statement

On Tuesdays, All Things BD used to post a hilarious fashion photo of her daughters' amazing clothing choices, and I laughed and loved every one of them. Boys just don't have the same amount of clothing combinations to choose from, I swear. So, I'm stealing borrowing this concept, and here's a picture of me as a child, exhibiting fabulous style and trendsetting fashion.

Every girl needs a rabbit fur jacket, a wispy nightdown and hairy monster slippers.

I LOVE it! And it's not stealing if you give credit to the original source. :)

That jacket. Those slippers. How many animals were killed to make you look that good? :)

Hilarious! But on Christmas morning all things can be excused. I ought to post the outfits that Madalyn wears. That child has absolutely no sense about what matches.

That outfit ROCKS! I had a coat like that. ;-)

That's hawt.

You know, one of my goals as a mom is to let my kid go out of the house wearing something like that. Even if it looks insane. Because hey, what goes on the child isn't so important, right? If it makes them happy, so be it!

That is such a wonderful outfit!!

You so need to join the blog carnival at We are THAT family on Thursdays. This is so appropriate. :)

Terrific ensemble! I have some big ole slippers that I wear around alot! Okay, not monsters, but still.
Now who knew I could pair them up with a fur jacket that just hangs in the closet and one of my nightgowns. Hmmm... I'm seeing a way to make my kids squirm at the next family gathering......
lol

Nice tertiary color scheme you've got going there. And the contrasting textures rock!

You look Mah-va-lous, Dah-ling! ;-)

Gosh, I can remember longing for a rabbit fur jacket like you're wearing. I think I did finally get a small rabbit hair purse.

The "bear" feet make the outfit.

I love it!

aaah, the glory days before PETA and the PC police! I had matching rabbit ear- and hand-muffs and I've always regretted not saving them. You look J-Lolicious.

So, so cute! It's amzing what you can get away with when you are young. I used to want a rabbit jacket also when I was a little girl, but never got one. I did have a rabbit foot though(ewwwww). It's amazing how times have changed (for the better-we are more "PC", but less relaxed, in my opinion).
