When you give a kid a camera

Remy, my six-year-old stinker, got ahold of my camera and took some interesting pictures. You be the judge...blurry amateurism or artsy genius?

This is one of his Lego creations, I think...pretty blurry and low light...but gives it an interesting look, that's for sure.
He got me! This one is in focus...the light isn't great, but that's an interesting angle, huh?
I think this must be the dog's tail...
ceiling fan in motion....
Nice butt shot of me heading to the kitchen. I don't know, the blurriness of it kind of gives it a cool, dreamy look....
Sweet Annie eat food out of her bowl...
and, last but not least, a cool viewpoint of the breakfast table....

Sneaky little boy...interesting perspectives!!

Ok, I think I am going to have to sit down now. I'm a bit dizzy. Oh wait I am sitting down.

Kids and cameras, Logan has done this also. I have gotten very interesting pictures from him.

I have gotten too many of these same shots myself. I thought they were just blurry and deleted them but now, I think some could be passed off as ART!

Nice thick hair you have and I really like the photos over your shoulder in the one shot.

Valarie - You're right, these photos made me dizzy too! It's hilarious to see what kids take pictures of and their viewpoints. The nice thing about digitgal cameras now is that I can let Remy take a ton of photos and not worry about having to develop them all...just hit the delete button!

Crystal Chick - I have plenty of bad photos myself, that I will try to never post here. I take a million photos of everything, knowing that a few will turn out great that way! Thanks for the compliments! I've always had a lot of hair...good some days, bad others.

Kids do take some interesting pictures. At our wedding we had disposable cameras out...and our ring bearer went and used most of them. He actually took some great pictures - but they are amusing because all the shots have an upward angle :-)

And I am with you on taking a million shots...you never know what might be the great one. I read somewhere that professionals use only about 30% of what they take...I try to think like that.

I say if the kid's going to take a shot of me, I'd rather it be blurry!

That's funny, the ceiling fan one is actually pretty cool looking.

Great idea to post these. I love the pictures my sons take. The one of you is great. Cool angle.

Kat - Oh, what fun to have kids with cameras at your wedding. lol A little scary, but fun. I wish I had done that. I like that figure out the pros only using 30%...makes me feel better. :o)

Carrie - The only reason I shared the photos of me were because they were blurry and dark. lol

Giggle - I doubt that he's better than you! I thought it was funny he took a picture of Annie's butt too. He took one of mine, but I deleted that one!! He is obsessed with butts, I swear.

Burfica - I agree, the ceiling fan is kind of a cool shot.

Indy - I wish I'd done this before, shared the kids' photos, instead of immediately deleting them. lol

Thanks, everyone, for coming by!

It must be the age for obsessing with butts...mine are like that too. It's such a funny word to them. My girly girls can really get into potty humor...and Madalyn could probably challenge any teenage boy to a burping contest. And win. Hands down. Makes a momma proud.

These look just like the pictures my husband takes.

Kat - I think you're right about it being how old they are and all. Potty humor is very popular in my house...and I think my husband is the worst one of all!!

Burping and farting are big hits in this house too. Even the dog chimes in occasionally. We're dog sitting my mom's black lab right now and when he passes gas...we all have to flee the room.

Momo Fali - ROFL about your husband's photos. hahahaha Poor guy.

My son loves taking pictures, too...it's great. :-) As for burping and farting...yeah, the 2 males in this house - the 6 year old and the 42 year old, think it's the funniest ever!

Kim - Boys! Men! They never really grow up. :o)

He's obviously building on his talent. Some day when he is a professional, you'll look back on these in a whole new perspective ;-) hehehe Very cute post.

Misty Dawn - Thanks! Remy sees the world in his own special way, that's for sure. I love him to pieces. lol
