Wow! Out of the mouth of babes, huh? That was a great blog idea! I'd like to do that with my 18 yr old!! Can't wait to see what your little ones say!!! :-)

Great idea. Might have to steal it :-) What does he want to invent? My kids are going to a science camp this summer...Camp Invention...and they have to bring with them one electronic non-working item that they will invent another use for...

Oh...just booked the flight to San Antonio...our summer is going to be INSANE!

That IS a great idea.

And I've said it before and I'll say it again - Future Weapons is badass.

Indy - Thanks! I figure the kids have some of the best things to say, and it might be fun to hear from them for a while instead of me. :o)

Chatti Patti - Thanks! I bet your 18 yr old would have some interesting things to say. lol

Kat - Feel free to steal the idea. Science camp sounds like a lot of fun! I don't know what he wants to invent...how long will you be in San Antonio?

Law Student Hot Mama - Thanks! My family agree with you about Future Weapons. I have only watched bits and pieces of it, I admit, but it was pretty awesome.

I like the interview. We put together a scrapbook of sorts that was 10 question interviews with many members of our family. Odd off the wall stuff at times and the answers were priceless.

Be blessed.

Your 11 year old said he would invest money? Wow, I am impressed. I knew he was a Texan from the first answer...chicken and dumplings!

Swimming with dolphins would be so wonderful. It was to be the highlight of a cruise we did 2 years ago that was horribly bungled. No dolphins. We got karaoke and stingrays instead. LOL
Totally cool shades he's wearing!!

We arrive in San Antonio on June 14 and leave the following Saturday...so for a week. I still haven't told the kids yet. It will be Madalyn's first time on a plane. Last time Katie was on a plane was when we went to San Antonio when she was 1 1/2...and she doesn't remember the trip at all.

Jennifer - What a good idea to do little mini-interviews with family members and make a booklet of them. Those are really fun to look back on, especially. Cute idea!

Cherrye - Do they serve Chicken N Dumplings in Italy? Do you have any Texas items on your bed n breakfast menu? :o) My 11 yr old is very mature...wanting to invest and all. Cracks me up, but I love it!

Crystal Chick - Donny thought he was pretty cool in those shades. lol I had to take his picture. Sorry to hear about your bungled cruise. Sting rays are awesome, but I'd prefer dolphins also. I swam with dolphins once when I was younger, and I'd LOVE to do it again...with my kids.

Kim - Thanks for stopping by! I enjoyed the video of your son in your backyard "river" the other day.

skeller/Susan - Thanks for your sweet words about Donny. I'd like to think he's a winning combination, but then I'm very biased. He's a great kid, good solid head on his shoulders.

Valarie - I love chicken n Dumplings also. Donny told me that when he was little (oh, so long ago) he thought we were saying "chicken and ducklings." He thought it was kind of weird to be eating baby ducks, but that they sure tasted good. lol

Ket - Your girls are going to love flying. My boys do. They are a little nervous on take off, but they love it. We always make puppets out of the throw-up bags. You have to do that, it's a rite of passage!! San Antonio is a fun place to visit...lots of great stuff to do! The Riverwalk, the Alamo, Sea World. :o)

Giggle - Thanks! I think he's a cutie pie too, but don't tell him that. He supposed to be "cool" these days.

Thanks everyone for coming by!

Like Skeller, I like the final one particularly. He keeps dreaming but we feel he is in the known of reality too. Well done Donny!

Catherine - You're totally right. Donny dreams but also knows reality. That describes him very well!
