Making the Most of Communication

You want to hear about my Monday yesterday?

I introduced Magnetic Poetry at the office where I work.

I bought a magnetic white board and got the OK to hang it in our break room.
Then I bought magnetic poetry kits and put the words up...

My co-workers can now express themselves...

In so many hilarious ways.

It's seriously addictive.
And a lot of fun.

I bought a kit for the kids too.
And the hilariousness has ensued.

I'm thinking about buying the "healing words" kit to put on the refrigerator,
so that my husband and I can communicate better...

We started marriage counseling yesterday.
It was raw.
It was hard.
It was sad & frustrating.

It was a step in solving our problems.

And, then, in classic Rhea Klutziness, at the end of the day,

I managed to fall out of my own car.

You will have to take pictures of your co-workers' poetic inspirations :-)

I am glad to hear about the counseling. I hope that it leads to the resolution that you want and need.

And, how may I ask, does one fall out of a car? That takes some mad skills I am sure!

You fell out of a car?

And I think Kat has a great idea...take photos of your coworkers inspirations. That would be interesting.

I would love pics too - of the word creations!

Hubby and I used to use these pre-kids. Then when we had one baby we used the foam letters in the shower to leave each other messages.... sigh remember when

I've played with these before... wicked fun...I'm wondering if they make an x rated version... I would enjoy that.

First of all, you crack me up. I think it's great you are going to counseling-so many couples just throw it away without any effort. Good for you. (I hope that sounds supportive and not condescending. It's supposed to sound really nice!) And the magnetic poetry? I LOVE it! Here's a website to try for online play: http://www.magpo.com/kidspoetry/playonline.cfm

I thought about getting them for my classroom....the chalkboard is magnetic, but I would be afraid of what I might read.

My husband and I are going to counseling too. It is not fun, but we have to at least try....good luck!!

Ooh, bring your camera to work. I wanna see what your coworkers come up with!

Good for you on the counseling thing. Maybe it will help? I sure hope so.

Dang, another time I wish I could be a fly, this time on the roof of your car.

Justine :o )

Wishing you the best results with therapy.

I think those word games will be hysterical! Have fun.

Or rather I should have said 'counseling' as the therapy is what you'll need if things get too crazy. LOL

I can't believe that I am going to admit this but I have fallen out of my car. It takes real talent.

I wish you all the best in your counseling.
