Hey, R2

I think I shared before that Santa brought the boys an R2D2 robot for Christmas.

He's activated by voice command.

It's a little tricky.

Here are some of our attempts.

All day, I hear, "Hey, R2!"

He's a cute little bugger though.

Thanks for all your well wishes yesterday.
The interview went well, and I got the job!
woohoo!!

I don't speak droid... I have no idea what R2 would be trying to tell me. My nephew would love to have that, though! Hmmmm... he has a bday coming up, I think you just gave me a gift idea!

Can't wait to hear about the job :)

Congratulations on the new job.

Now you KNOW you have to come back and tell us all about the first day/week/month!

I'm sure it will be so much fun! Ok at least for us anyway :P

Just letting you know I'm thinking about you today...

...and later on tonight, too, after we've enjoyed 2 hours of delicious tv goodness.

Oh yay! Congrats!!

If I show my husband this video, he's so going to want one. Dangerous. ;)

Congratulations! Where is the new job? Keep us "posted" on how it's going.

Oh, and you are supposed to dump the cat litter underneath of the tire that is spinning and it gives you traction on the ice (my yesterday's post)...lol.

We have R2 too!

Hey R2.

Do you remember Darth Vader?

Oh, I'm so happy for you (about the job, not the robot!)

And I wish we could all be together tonight, drinking some Mike's, eating crack-corn dip and sussing out Lost. Too bad we can't have our own little travel pods to zip to one central location...

R2D2 is cool... we haven't had ANY luck with voice activated stuff

That is cute, but it would drive me bonkers. I think I'd accidentally on purpose kick it across the room, into the wall.

"The Hong Kong Connection" is a legal thriller about a gutsy female attorney who takes on high ranking International officials. It's a taut, rollercoaster of a ride from New York to Palm Beach to Washington D.C. to Hong Kong. The plot is expertly woven, the characters persuasive, and the dialogue snappy and spot on.
