Armies in my Living Room

I've mentioned how Legos took over my coffee table.

Well, we've finally managed to relocate them a little.
Remy now has his own Lego Table.

Hey, Annie, move, I'm trying to take a picture of the lego table!!

ANNIE!!

Ok, that's better. Here's the table.

Annie needs to be right in the middle of things.
Sheesh.

Annie, move!!

I have a feeling that SWAT team's comin' after me.

Do your kids like to put things together?
Do you?

I'd like to learn to sew or knit or quilt...
I can't sit still when I watch TV usually.
I have to be doing something else at the same time.

Except during LOST.
Best Show Ever.

I can't sit still while watching tv either. which is why I don't watch much tv. But when I do, I'm usually crocheting. I try to do that instead of eating!!!

I am so not wanting to hit the Lego stage. I can remember as a kid those things were everywhere, so if my little mind noticed it, you know it was bad!

Hey you got a spam comment. You've arrived! :)

We have Lego's but they don't get used often. We love to put together jigsaw puzzles. My youngest started doing simple ones before she turned 2, and now she can sit down and complete a 300 piece puzzle by herself in a couple of days. I used to do them with my dad, so I love that the legacy lives on.

Remy obviously has a wonderful, creative imagination !!

Both Meesha and Sparky are camera hogs, just like Annie, especially when I'm trying to take macro shots. It's not unusual to find part of a doggy nose in my photo..

I usually need to be doing something while I'm watching TV. I knit.

Hmmm.... um... do they put things together???

Not so much.

That giant Spongebob freaks me out. Actually anything spongebob freaks me out.

my son loves putting Legos together, but once he figures it out, he loses interest. Recently, we found new homes for some of the Legos he is no longer playing with! :-)

I also cannot be idle when watching TV - I read magazines, work on my homework, knit, sew, quilt (well, pull stitches mostly), almost anything. Drives my husband nuts.

My older kids loved Legos and my little one is now carrying on the tradition. In fact, last night my big boy pulled out all his old legos and put a train together for his little brother.
I used to cross-stitch, but haven't for a long time.
I am also a big "Lost" fan - glued to the TV last night!

I will just never get boy toys. They're not even pretty or anything.
I don't know how to put anything together!

Justine :o )

That is the coolest Lego table ever! And I love the first shot of Annie. Beautiful doggie.

My boy loves to put things together. But for some reason, everything eventually becomes a gun. Much to my chagrin.

It's like lego central at your house!

Well, my kids are older, but they still put things together. The newest is scrapbooks. I'm trying to push them in the direction of digital scrapbooking, but they like doing it the old-fashioned way.

Did you see that Legoland put together an entire inauguration/DC scene just using Legos? Pretty cool...

LOVE to put stuff together. Puzzles, furniture, toys, whatever. I also can't watch TV without doing something. Just something all the women in my heritage have done. We crochet, knit, sew, tat, whatever. I always loved as a kid when we'd get a puzzle together. Mom had some that were 5'x 3'. Dad fixed a desk special for them. Then we set it up in the living room behind the loveseat so we could watch TV and work the puzzle. Lots of fun.

We used to have that same table! I miss those days... I am going crazy trying to catch up on Lost. We haven't finished Season 4 yet. Yikes. Also, can knit during most things, but not Lost. :-)

Hayden is a big collector. He has little collections all over the house.
I learned to knit while pregnant with the babies but now since their birth, have totally forgotten.

Pirate leggos! Awesomeness.

I do my nails, sort through the mail, pay pills...all kinds of stuff, while watching TV. EXCEPT during Lost. Then it's complete and utter silence and if Scott even breathes in my general direction I lose my freakin' mind.

Amen.

What a good dog you are Annie!! And so very pretty...oh and the lego table. I love those! My kids doctor always had one. Kept them busy so they didn't think about shots!

Ack! I dont watch TV. I should be embarrassed to admit that but I just dont get into anything.

Unless they came up with an Edward Cullen channel - all sparkles all the time. I would watch that.

I love the idea of the table. My daughter is really into writing and drawing so our "coffee table" is now her art table:-)

My kids have that exact same table...but guess where their legos always end up instead? Right wherever I am about to step in my bare feet. That's where!

I am very envious of your son's use of the lego table. :)
