Cow teats, a coffee cup collection, the Texas dog rabbit & wooden flowers.

I brought my hubby and kids gifts back from my Wisconsin trip. My husband is a huge coffee drinker, so I always buy him coffee mugs wherever I go. Here's the one I got him this time...

Who can resist a hot, steamin' mug of cow teats? hehe He hasn't used it yet...I'm putting it by his coffee maker tonight, so he'll have no excuse in the morning.

This next cup is one the boys and I picked out for him when we went to Washington D.C. last year to visit the treasury (or whatever that place is called that makes all our money). We wanted him to know we think he's worth a million bucks (or 100,000 bucks, whatever).

This is a cup we gave him for Father's Day one year. I took a picture of the boys goofing around on the trampoline. This was a few years ago. I uploaded the picture to Shutterfly and had it made into a coffee cup. I love Shutterfly.

Another Father's Day gift to show hubby we think he's incredible. This was one of our favorite family movies ever!

No need to adjust your monitors or tilt your heads...the cup is kind of diagonal...on purpose.

When I got back from my Wisconsin trip (I know, you're getting sick of hearing about it, but I'm having so much fun typing the word "Wisconsin" because before now I'd never used that word), my boys had gone to a Home Depot Kids' Workshop and made me a "Welcome Home" early Mother's Day gift! I LOVE them!! I put one box by my computer and one on my bathroom counter.

These kids' workshops at the Home Depot are held the first Saturday of every month from 9am to noon at your local stores. It's completely free and they help your kids build the project of the month. My boys have made some awesome stuff...a race car, a pirate ship, an art caddy, and it looks like next month's is a catamaran. The above one that they just completed is a flower pencil holder (and I LOVE it!).

Finally, we made a little excursion to Target today, and it's bad enough I have to limit the spending on myself and two children, I also now have end up buying something for the dog.

We got Sweet Annie a rabbit. And, boy does she love to chew on it. I'm betting $50 it won't last the next 24 hours, and I'm going to find rabbit stuffing all over the house. Don't worry, I'll take pictures.

Great selection, Rhea. My favourite is the `udder' one!

Thanks for the lovely comment on Verse and Worse!

The cow udder cup? Hilarious.

The dog chewing on a rabbit? Disturbing.

If he's smart, he'll look beyond the coffeemaker for a mug. Dude, that mug's creepy - who wants to wake up to cow teats??? ;-)

It is oddly hilarious, though. Thanks for the laughs, and have a lovely day! :-)

First - Love that cow udder cup!

Second - You have such sweet boys. Theres nothing like a homemade gift for Mothers day. I love stuff my kids make me. :)

Third - if it were not for the tag on that bunny, it almost looks real.

David - I actually usually do enjoy your witty rhymes. I hope you didn't think my comment was rude. I check your blog daily. Thanks for coming by!

All Things BD - I can see how the rabbit would be disturbing. lol BUT, I bought it at Target! Target! My favorite store to spend money at...so it's all ok, right? hehe

Tez - I secretly agree that I wouldn't want to drink out of the cow teats mug, but he has to, right, so he won't hurt my feelings? hehe

Valarie - My boys are sweet. They both had handmade cards to accompany the wooden flower pencil holders. The bunny has a squeaker noise thingy inside of it that makes this weird honking noise. Does't sound real at all.

Thanks everyone for coming by!

Neat mugs for hub. The cow one is a RIOT. Our dogs would chew that up in seconds. We've got KONG toys they manage to rip.
Cool thing to have kids go to learn projects like that. My son was just hoping we'd take a trip to BestBuy soon so he could jam on Guitar Hero and show off. LOL

Your boys are so sweet to make something for you. Madalyn asked me once if she could have her birthday party at Home Depot (or maybe it was Lowe's) - because she likes hanging out in the kitchen cabinet department. But with the "crafts" they do - they could launch a whole new department at Home Depot. I can just see it now...bright orange cake, a craft, an apron for everyone :-)

Love the udder cup..LOL!

That rabbit is totally realistic. The mug collection is a lot of fun, my mom decorates her kitchen in cows and chicken stuff, she'd love that mug.

Crystal Chick - Annie's never really gotten into the whole KONG thing, although we do have one. Do you put peanut butter or something in yours?

April - The more I look at the bunny, the more real it looks, you're right.

Kat - My boys are sweeties, and I love homemade (or Home Depot made) gifts. That's so funny about Madalyn.

Britgal Sarah - I think it's too late to save the rabbit...

Tearese - Cows and chickens seem to be a common theme for kitchens...not mine, but I can understand the appeal.

My dog tears apart stuffed animals, too. And his bed. It drives me crazy. But the things he's SUPPOSED to chew on? (Kongs, rawhide and the like) - couldn't be bothered. Go figure.

Thanks God, I understand english otherwise I would have thought I was arrived in a very cruel family and sent you Animal Protection Service! Imagine children watching your blog, they would plunge directly in the nature reality. I know you love Nature, but protect us against its cruaulty!
So, it's every day Mother's Day at your home? and furthermore you make presents to each other each day! Do you do the same for your guest? Yes? Well, I have to take my mind off things, I'm arriving.
WISCONSIN, WISCONSIN, WISCONSIN, does it give the same effect reading it as writing it? : )

Chatti Patti - You crack me up, always. I bought that cup in the Madison, WI airport...so if you're ever passing though...lol

Uberburber - Annie tears apart everything. That's hilarious your dog only does the stuffed animal not the dog toys. hehe

Catherine - Oh, dear, I bet that did look horrendous, the dog tearing into a rabbit. :o)

Thanks for stopping by!

I LOVE the mugs!!!

I'm getting a mug especially made for my mum because she is a big fan of RAT GiRL - I'm getting the image of RAT GiRL on a 'magic appearing mug' where the picture only pops up when the mug is filled with hot water.

She'll have a speech bubble saying "Drink up you flamin mungral!"

*GiGGLeS* xx

Giggle - The cup your having made for your mum is AWESOME! Sounds hilarious. I didn't know she was a huge fan of Rat Girl, but then, who isn't?! hehe

By the way, we saw a brand new LOST episode last night...it was awesome...the last line of the show is a doosie...
