Rascal, our friendly neighborhood squirrel does it again. He enjoys that bird food more than the birds do, I swear. AND, our dear, sweet Annie would really enjoy catching him...she tries. Ahh, the food chain.

Hehehe what a smart little critter eh! Great shots, and they certainly made me smile :)
My entry is here
Please do stop by if you have a moment. Have a great week ahead!
Squirrels are cagey little critters! Mine sits at the bottom of the feeder and seems content with the leftovers that drop to the ground.
Great series of photos!
That's cute! Squirrels don't have a chance around my house as the cat always seems to get them. :o(
LOL Silly squirrel! But he is clever!
Wow, he's a cagey one! It looks like he figured out how to foil it alright. The squirrel at our old house chewed through the cord holding the feeder up, and then feasted on all the seeds when the house broke on the ground.
Darn critters.
Squirrels never cease to amaze me with their resourcefulness. I have yet to see a truly "squirrel-proof" bird feeder. I don't think they really exist. :-)
I despise squirrels. Just rats with fluffy tails. They were in the walls in our old house - there is no getting rid of them. And we are ever so fortunate to not have many around us here. With all our trees - we have owls. Who eat squirrels.
But I am too afraid to get a bird feeder...I don't want them to come near the house.
Clever little bugger... I always thought squirrels were kinda cute...
Yep we have one of 'those' squirrel proof ones that isn't too. So we got one of those plastic umbrella things, but it still didn't work. Finally fish line had him beat and he started demeaning himself by using the squirrel feeder!

I've given up on squirrel proofing the bird feeders. I have special feeders for the squirrels and that works to some extent. I do have to make sure by bird feeders are good quality construction usually metal or hardy wood or else the squirrels ruin them. I love to see squirrel images though. I think they're really cute.
Oh my i love this, what a smart squirrel
Those picture reminds me of a line froma moviewhich I'l change a little. Put food out "they will come", the squirrels that is. "Build it and they will come." ('Field of Dreams')
ow that's a different critter for a garden feeder. Great shots.
Sneaky Pete is having an upside down snack. Great pics.
That is funny. I love it. Hehe.
That's one determined little guy!
He's hilarious. I like the one of him hanging upside down.
does Annie go crazy? hahah
Aren't squirrels adorable animals and fascinating how they manage to steal food!
we stopped filling our bird house b/c it was getting emptied practically daily by squirrels. the birds are no competition for them!
Haha! I hope the birds won't get angry! Such cute shots of the squirrel.
I had to take this picture through my glass door, because if I opened the door he ran off. So, the pictures aren't the best quality, sorry.
So this is why my bird feeder is always empty. I wondered how little tiny birds could have such an appetite as hubby was filling it frequently. LOL Now I have to stand guard with the camera!
Oooh, also, I LOVE that hanging candle thingy! Looks very Moroccan!!
Hehehe - at least he is giving you come critter photo opps ;-) My husband actually put field corn out for the squirrels, but my puppy ate it all (yes, you read that right).
I've added you to the blogroll, my friend. I apologize for the delay, and I appreciate your patience. Life has been a bit hectic with a three week visit from my step-son in addition to my working three jobs. ;-) But, I shouldn't make excuses, when I'm the one who started the meme.
Love that squirrel!
We had to take our bird feeder down because of the squirrels. They would leap onto it and scatter bird seed all over the balcony. I was tired of cleaning up the mess.
Thanks for stopping by.
Little thief!
Rhea catch you with her camera, be careful that Annie doesn't!
I have the same feeder. No good. I need the kind that shuts when anything heavier than a bird is on it. I had one once and it was worth its weight in seeds.
OMG TOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!! xx
Okay. Love it! We used to have a lot of squirrels around here too. But somehow they have all vanished. The city. Cats and dogs and no place to live I guess. So sad. I love the little guys.
