Poor puppy

Every time I leave the house and can't take along sweet Annie, this is what I see as we drive away. Look closely at the left side of the door, in the window.

Here's a closer look...Poor puppy. Poor, poor puppy.
She usually gets to go run errands with me at least once or twice a day, so don't go feeling all sorry for her. She's spoiled.

And, after playing laster tag yesterday, the boys won dinky toy rewards at the arcade place and got those baseball sticker thingies that stick to your car. So, in this next picture, gasp and pretend I didn't already tell you....ok, ready?

Oh my gosh, Rhea, did someone hit a baseball into your car window?!! Holy smokes!!!

(that white thing on the window, sorry not the best photo)

As we drove down the street, it flew off. Cheap, dinky arcade toy.

I see thos baseball stick-ons all the freakin' time around here. Everyone's geeked out over the Cardinals, I couldn't care less.

It is a bit disconserting when you get "that" look from the dog, ain't it? When I leave my 2 hooligans, I have to bribe them with dog treats. My conscience is clear.

Do you see that? I am *still* not the number one commenter. Even after all my gratuitous commenting on the last post.

OMG...look at what happened to your new car!

(was that the reaction the boys were looking for?)

And poor Annie...with her doggie nose pressed to the window...wondering when you are going to come back for her. Love that picture. And love that you thought to take that picture.

(Okay...am I in the lead *now?!*)

OMG...just kidding. Silly boys! They think they are quite funny, don't they?

Yup. More plastic for the world to absorb. But you end up getting it anyway right? Love the dog pics.

i remember as a kid my dog would watch us leave for school out the window. It was so sad because you could just see how heartbroken she was to have us leave. then when we came home from school she was right there at the window waiting for us. It was like she knew what time we came home and would go and wait at the right time. If we came home early or she wasn't expecting us she wasn't there so that is how we know she had an internal clock knowing the time that we would come home from school. Your front porch is beautiful. those bushes are amazing -- very inviting.

Poor Annie, looks so pitiful! Reminds me of my Chloe who scales our giant furniture to look through our living room window everytime we leave the house. I'm sure people driving by on our road think she's a cardboard cut-out because she's so still.

I can't tell if she's sad or plotting revenge. Damn it, Annie, be more obvious! ;-)

Have a lovely day! :-)

Hey...I am back in first place. Gotta maintain my status with inane comments.

Actually I just needed a brain break. I am working on my Thursday Thirteen for tomorrow...and it's not taking as long as my others...but I am doing research!

um... i just read two posts and for some reason in my mind I cannot seperate them, although i know this one has nothing to do with the pool... and all about your doggie, kids, and arcade and the broken window from the baseball. ;) okay... i'm good now.

Your house is beautiful!! :) very nice.

poor girl! :( my dog thinks she should go wherever we go... but i think she also enjoys some time away from the kids... just a little bit.

it stinks that the arcade prize fell off the window... I bet the boys got a kick out of it being there. :)

xoxoxo

I know that look - only it's my black cat, Gilbert who is so forlorn as I leave him behind (and he has 3 mates to keep him company!)

Kat

Found you at Sandy's blog. Congrats on your well-deserved award.

I swear there is nothing more heartbreaking than a pathetic puppy face pressed in the window. My pup used to *kill* me. Sometimes he would toss in a howl for good measure.

Oh POOR Annie, she looks so incredibly sweet. And pitiful sitting all by her lonesome. I just want to squeeze her.

Poor Annie, she looks so sad! For the picture, I'm sure, after you've turned the street corner, she becomes the "queen" of the house!

My cat does the same thing. I can't help it, it always rips my heart out.

Before I got Finn I used to say "He's just a dog, get over it and let's GO already!" Now I completely understand. But that Annie, she's workin' the sad face big time.
