We've been saying it wrong

Did you know that we've been pronouncing Dr. Seuss's name wrong?
The correct prnunciation actually rhymes with "voice."

"You’re wrong as the deuce
And you shouldn’t rejoice
If you’re calling him Seuss.
He pronounces it Soice."

I recently discovered he has a lot of great quotes:

"I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind.
Some come from ahead and some come from behind.
But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see.
Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!”

I love his art.

And, this is one of my favorite quotes:

“The more that you read, the more things you will know.
The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.”

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.
You're on your own. And you know what you know.
You are the guy who'll decide where to go.”

Isn't it fun discovering the other sides of a favorite person? You think you know them through some of their writings, only to discover even more wonderful things about them... these are very revealing... thanks for sharing
