Making Memories with My Grandmother

Today I spent the day with my grandmother.

I had my hair done,
where she bribed the hair dresser to put my blonde in my hair.

We had a lovely lunch at la Madeleine,
where she reminded me to wash my hands
and told me to use a straw with my drink in case the glasses weren't clean.

We went clothes shopping,
and each picked out totally different clothes from the other.

We talked, we laughed, we spent time together.
And it was a wonderful day.

My grandmother is more hip than I am

Photographic evidence. She keeps up with fashion trends way better than I do.

My grandmother lived in Baton Rouge for all my life...until the last couple of years.  She moved to the same town I live in now, and I get to have her in my life and my boys life on a much more regular basis.

And that warms my heart.

Grandmother's House might be Haunted

My son think there's a room at his great-grandmother's house that's haunted.

It's one of the guest rooms.

He feels a presence.

(This is where their Legos are being kept for now, remember my Lego sneaking story?)

So, I went into the room to take some photos.

Hoping I would catch this "presence" on "film."

It's looks like a nice room to me.

Although the rabbits seem to be staring at me...

Do you get that feelings too?

Seriously, I love my grandmother's house.
I love that she's moved to town.
And I don't mind if she has a haunted room...

as long as I don't have to sleep in it.

But I may use it as a threat for punishment with my boys.
hehe

Honestly, I think the only thing haunting that house is my grandmother's cat,
Honey Bun.

That cat is SCARY.
