It's not just about the books

This is our local town library.

We don't just go there to read.

We've been there to use the Internet, for free, when we didn't have it.

We've been there for storytime.

We've been there to join the summer reading club.

But, most recently, we've been there for...

(I can't help it, the sight of all these books makes me so happy!)

Am I nutty to take my camera to the library?

We went to the library to meet with the seniors' chess club.

My boys were invited to play.
and play they did.

We LOVE to play chess.

It's good for your brain.

You never know who meets at the library.

Do you ever go to your library?

That library is huge!
We go occasionally during the summer. Or if I need to research something.

I take the kids once a week... in fact, Dottie was bugging me to go today.

Absolutely - as much as we can. It's like coming home to me.

I LOVE all your shots. I can almost smell the pulp. Yum.

Good for your boys for loving chess. What an incredible experience to play with the Seniors as well.

Love your pictures. Funny yesterday I actually got a Library Card at our very small small local library. I have a young child learning to read and I was checking out some I can read books for beginners!

We go to our library all the time, but it's such a tiny one compared to yours. There's 3 computers and only like 12 shelves of books.

Yeah, it's eensy.

We just got into the library this summer. They had a lot of great programs for the kids. It was really fun!!

Yep, we love our library. I have to really pace myself because it's too much like shopping, only for free, so I tend to come out of there with stacks of books, CD's, and books on tape. I usually manage to read most of them though.

My son loves chess too.
