Seriously Pathetic Side Effects of Divorce

My boys are really into Legos.

But when we downsized
and moved out of our home and in with my mom and stepfather...
well, we just didn't have room for much.

We had to get rid of a LOT of stuff.
We sold furniture on Craig's List.
Gave lots away...

And moved into two bedrooms at my mom's.

And the Lego table and boxes of Legos...they went to my grandmother's house.

Tonight...tonight we went to dinner at my grandmothers...and snuck some Legos back.

Shhh!! Don't tell!

This is what I've been reduced to.
Sneaking Legos.

What has my life come to?!!

What's next?
I might be sneaking in gallons of ice cream or dirty romance novels...

Have you had to sneak anything past your family recently?

and, yes, my mom reads this blog, so I'm totally busted.
Sorry, Mom.

I have to sneak my caffeine all the time. My hubs doesn't think I should be drinking it cause he says it makes me all wiry and stuff, so I go shopping without him and sneak the boxes into my secret hiding spot.

I am such a loser.

Your header is gone! And don't you already have the dirty romance novels??

I have to sneak out trash. School papers and works of "art" of Madalyn's. I have to hide it in the trash. And Michael has so many plastic grocery sacks that he never remembers to take to recycle. Well. It's horribly ungreen of me. But I hide those in the trash, too. Otherwise, they might just take over my house...

sneaking legos is classic.

I don't have to sneak much around here...I do have a dirty little Tilight FanFic habit though.. Hubs hasn't complained one bit.

Aw, I think your mom will forgive you for sneaking in the legos. Hey, it's for the greater good!

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission, right? I'm sure grandma won't mind!

Hey Rhea. It's been a while.

Sorry to see what has changed for you. I went back and followed the posts through July. It's too bad. I've been posting about my divorce on "Hot Dads" recently too if you are looking for some persepctive.

It's good you didn't get rid of the lego as part of a purge. My Ex threw out tons of stuff that were "reminders" but all that accomplished was ridding ourselves of stuff we needed.

You naughty person! But stolen legos are all the more sweet! :)
