A Very Annie Christmas

I really wanted to get a photo of Annie with a Santa hat on.
But I knew this wasn't going to be easy.

Hey, Annie, come here, girl!

I enlisted some help.

Donny, my 11 year old, tried to put the hat on her while I took photos.

But, the photos look strange with him holding it on her head...
especially with his alien green cast.

But, Annie didn't like that hat, no matter how may treats we kept giving her.

It took about 50 photos to get this one.
This one was good.
She's looking right at me.
and the hat is on.
BUT, she's not smiling.

Here we go, here's the smile.
But, darnit, Donny's hand is in the photo.

I think we're going to have to go with this one as the best...

But, then there's this one.
The standout photo of all the others...

Oh, Annie.

What a sweet girl! I've only got cats to torture, and it's no fun when you're getting scratched to death trying to dress them up! :D

She may hate the hat but it looks like she loves the attention. What a sweet faced pooch you have!

I'm impressed that the hat stayed on long enough for you to get the photo! LOL

I love the picture you chose for the Christmas card, even without the smile. Just adorable.

OMG that is so funny! So cute, too! What a good girl, Annie!

I would try doing that with my cats, but, I would prefer to leave my flesh ON my body. Not under their nails...

I don't think I could get Izzie to do that... she's so skittish, the doofus dog freaks out when the wind rustles the leaves... I don't know what she'd do if I tried to put something on her head.

Seriously.

She's so cute! She looks so much like my lab, on whom we tried to put reindeer antlers. She had none of that though! I didn't think about a hat!

Reminds me of the year I tried to take Willie's picture in a Santa hat. I finally got one, too, but he wasn't smiling either. Great series!

Our Aphrodite doesn't like wearing hats either. She'll wear the reindeer headband for about two seconds then rip it off. Cute series of all you went through to get the shot. Have a wonderful Sunday! :)

Annie does put up with a lot of shenanigans with you guys :-) Especially like when you decide to hog tie her.

You could have picniked her hat on...
