Fairy Godparents

My children told me they would love to have Fairy Godparents.

How am I supposed to compete with that?

Seriously?

If they did have fairy godparents to grant my boys' every wish,
the world would be in deep doodoo.

We'd have robot armies and alien monsters running loose.

It's too bad.
Guess they're stuck with me.

Getting used to disappointment is a good lesson in life's realities. That said, you seem like a pretty wonderful mom. Guess they'll have to settle for wonderful. Poor guys.

What they don't realize is, is that you are their fairy God mother.

My girls have a fairy godmother. At least that is what we call their godmother :-) And really. I think that all moms need one. I wonder where I might find one.

What your children don't realize is that a fairy godparent don't give them everything they want unless ordered to do so by the actual parent.

they work for us, you know.

I don't know about fairy God parents, but I would settle for a magic wand to wave around at things.

I want a fairy godmother, too. I just need a little break, maybe she could finish the laundry or something.

Graham went through a stage when he was calling me a 'Scary Blue Monster'... I'd rather be a fairy godmother...

At least they are not wishing they were adopted and their real parents will come and take them away and feed them candy for dinner...

Like I did as a child.

Oh dear God, that alien was blinding at almost 2 am!

And I agree, having Fairy Godparents would rock!

I knew you was a tye dye alien
with your pink and red hair
and my daughter knows all
parental units (yes she calls us that) are alien. a little girl was excited her mother with cancer was going to loose her hair. why?
to see the eyes in the back of her head.
gotta love kids
merry christmas with my warped sense of humor

Well I am glad they are "stuck" with you then, cause I really don't want to have to defend the house against robot armies. :)
