The FURminators

A weekend or two ago, the boys had to divvy up responsibilities.

They needed to scoop poop in the backyard
and
FURminate the animals.

The boys were going to split the yard in half and each scoop poop on one side.
Then Donny talked Remy into scooping the whole yard
in exchange for Donny feeding the dog morning and night
for an entire week.

Normally Donny feeds Annie dinner,
and Remy feeds her breakfast.

However, everyone seems to enjoy the furminating.
(boys and animals)

Do you have a FURminator?!

They're AWESOME.

It looks like we're torturing the cat, but trust me, he LOVES it.

Sometimes it takes two boys to FURminate one kitty.

You use it like a brush, but it helps get rid of all the extra shedding hair.

When you're done using it, it looks like a small animal died...
there's hair everywhere!!

Yes, Donny tried to juggle the FURminators.
Please don't try that at home, kids.

And, yes, boys will turn anything into a weapon.

Are your kids for hire? I have a dog and cat who needs their attention.

Man, I could sure use one of those for our cat.

I could use one of those FURminators. I find chunks of hair from my Golden Retriever all around the house. I am constantly picking up hairballs. I would like to have her hair thinned out but hubby doesn't like the idea.

No, I don't, but I NEED one!
My dogs would love it, too.

Yep, we have a Furminator, but the damn thing just seems so harsh as you're pulling it along, don't you think? And Strudel has such coarse freakin' hair too.

Wow, a Furminator. With three cats and one St. Bernard, I think that's what I need for Christmas. Especially since the dog seems to have some weird skin condition that is causing him to shed like a bugger. He's an outside dog in a snowy town, so I hope he's going to keep enough of it to keep him warm!
