I think my mom's cat is really a Mexican Lucha Libre wrestler in disguise

I've mentioned King Kachi before.
He's my mom's cat who has 90 lb dogs terrified of him.

He drinks water with his paw...and freaks out if he can see the bottom of his food bowl.

Well, now I know his secret.

He's a Mexican Lucha Libre wrestler!!

El Gato Loco!!

He pulled a move the other night and practically took down my 90 lbs. dog.

He stood on his hind legs, wrapped his front paws around my sweet Annie's neck and pulled.

It was impressive.

I tried really hard to catch it on camera, but failed.

But here is the stare off right before he went all freaky on the dog.

And then he took out...the newspaper in one hell of a feroucious move.

How is a 90 lb dog intimidated by a 12 lb cat?

When the boys and I first moved in with my mom and step-dad,

our sweet Annie was terrified of Kachi the cat.

Eventually, the two made peace and ignored each other.

However, take a look at this photo.
Anything wrong with this picture?

Let's zoom in closer for a better look.

Hi, Annie!

Who's that sleeping in your bed?!

Bad Kitty!!

But, Annie's so scared of the cat  or totally wimpy polite, she won't make the kitty move.

It's Remy to the rescue!

He dumps the kitty out of the bed.

Kachi runs off and gives us his back, clearly irritated his nap has been interrupted so rudely.

And, there's a happy ending.

Annie is back in her bed once again!

They are getting along much better...but I think the kitty still wears the pants around here.

The FURminators

A weekend or two ago, the boys had to divvy up responsibilities.

They needed to scoop poop in the backyard
and
FURminate the animals.

The boys were going to split the yard in half and each scoop poop on one side.
Then Donny talked Remy into scooping the whole yard
in exchange for Donny feeding the dog morning and night
for an entire week.

Normally Donny feeds Annie dinner,
and Remy feeds her breakfast.

However, everyone seems to enjoy the furminating.
(boys and animals)

Do you have a FURminator?!

They're AWESOME.

It looks like we're torturing the cat, but trust me, he LOVES it.

Sometimes it takes two boys to FURminate one kitty.

You use it like a brush, but it helps get rid of all the extra shedding hair.

When you're done using it, it looks like a small animal died...
there's hair everywhere!!

Yes, Donny tried to juggle the FURminators.
Please don't try that at home, kids.

And, yes, boys will turn anything into a weapon.

Family Critters

I haven't participated in Camera Critters in a while.
This has been a crazy summer.

We went to Disney World with family.

I left my husband.

The kids and I moved in with my mom and stepfather.

And Annie came with us, of course.

Sweet Annie has had to face her fears.

And I think they just might...

become friends.

But right now, the cat's still in charge.

King Kachi.

Kittyball

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a...

KITTYBALL!!

This is Kachi, my mom's cat.

Our sweet Annie is scared of this cat.

I wish we could have a cat, but Texas Homeboy is allergic.
So, we're content to play with Kachi when we need our kitty-fix.

I love the weekend Camera Critters!

Giveaway ends Tuesday, January 6th at midnight, U.S. central time.

This is King Kachi.
I've posted about him before.
He's my mom and stepdad's cat.

a remarkable cat who acts more like a dog.

Kachi doesn't like my dog, Annie.

He spies her coming and goes on the offensive...

My sweet Annie, who wouldn't hurt a flea, fears this cat.

When Kachi comes near, Annie gets still and scared.
She's terrified to move.

My 90lb dog is scared to move a muscle when the cat comes up to her.

Annie won't move until the cat leaves the room.

And then she pees in her pants.

Ok, not really, but practically.

What is it about this cat that he rules over dogs?
and it's not just my dog.

I know of four dogs Kachi has lorded over.
