I think I killed the Shoe Fairy

Last night I was up late on the computer, when I heard a strange noise.
It sounded like tap dancing...coming from my bathroom.

I woke up Annie, the vicious attack dog,
and grabbed one of my kids' Star Wars light sabers...
and headed into the bathroom...

just in time to see my gigantic pile of dirty laundry fall onto the shoe fairy.

I think I killed her.

But the good news is, she left behind...

Ok, maybe I lied.

I do that sometimes.

I'm a writer.
I'm creative.
I can't help it.

My mom was about to get rid of a bunch of shoes she can't wear anymore.

And she gave them to me!

Woohoo!!

Ha ha - how funny! When my gigantic pile of laundry falls over, all I ever find is another gigantic pile of laundry. Please send that shoe fairy over to my house!

Hehehehe... I think I'm the only female in the country who hates shoes... I have two pair, both Dansko clogs, both ugly and clunky and so comfy... I refuse to wear anything else... oh, in the summer I live in flip flops....

That there is probably more shoes that I own! Okay, slight exaggeration, but I'm the type that finds one comfy shoe (Nike flip flops!) and will wear them every single day.

Whenever I hear girlfriends talking about how many shoes or purses they own I just can't relate. LOL I have a ratty old pair of boots for snow, they are literally ripped in a few places but I just haven't gotten around to replacing them because we didn't get alot of snow this year. I have one pair of black flats if I need something dressy. Maybe two pairs of sneakers. A couple pairs of sandals. Whatever else is in the closet no longer fits or has a heel, and I don't ever do heels anymore so they'll be going to the donation bag soon.

Enjoy your new goodies!!!

I want a shoe fairy. But I'd probably need a foot fairy first. A fairy that can transform my Fred Flinstone feet into pretty feet that can wear cute shoes. Instead of being relegated to crocs and birks.

How funny!

I wish I knew how to walk properly in high heels. I admire shoes but I know deep down not to bother buying them as I first need to learn how to walk in heels without falling on my butt.

Thank you for the welcome comment on my blog!

Your inherited shoes already put my entire collection to shame! I have one pair for work, one for dressing up, one for easy access to walk outside, and sneakers. That's it. I'm pathetic.

I actually thought of a great blog to do a few weeks ago upon looking at my fave pair of shoes....a Shoe Blog! I might do just that after seeing your cute one. I took pics that day of all my faves.

I want a shoe fairy too.

Don't you love that she wears the same size as you. My CG was upset when her foot became bigger than mine. I love shoes, she does and so does my mom. Oh if we counted the # of shoes here we would be embarrassed.

Shoes are the best! And, even better when they're free or cheap. :)

I want a shoe fairy! My feet are way tooooo huge for my mom's size 5.5's. So I'm out of luck on getting her super cute shoes.
