Last weekend I was driving around, looking for a fun animal shot.
I found Black Beauty first:
Bu, as you can see, this photo isn't very good.
The fence is in the way, and it just isn't remarkable.
So, I kept driving around, looking for more animals.
Then I found a pair of horses hanging out by a barn.
The brown of the horse really compliments the barn,
but once again, those darn fences were in the way.
I didn't feel up for trespassing to try to get a better shot.
So, I kept driving, looking for a great critter capture...
And lo and behold, I found one.
I pulled over to the side of the road,
alongside a farm fence,
and whipped out my camera as fast as possible.
I caught a horse, rolling around in the dirt.

I wish I'd moved faster, because this horse was HILARIOUS,
but I managed to get only the one photo.
Before the horse got up and walked away with his friends.
That one photo is PRICELESS though.
Just hilarious.

Thanks for sharing such a sweet post. I loved reading through and loved the photos, particularly the one of the little guy rolling on his back!
I enjoyed all your photos but that last one was priceless. Patience and persistence more often than not pays off. Thanks for sharing it and bringing a smile.
The shot of the horse rolling was just perfect timing! LOVE it! I had a horse who would try to do that before I could get his saddle off of him... lol
