Under "Cool Inventions" in my son's National Geographic Kids Magazine is this Souped Up John (or put plainly, a pimped out toilet). It has a TV, a TiVo, a DVD player, Xbox 360, laptop, fridge, and a toilet paper holder that is also an iPod docking station. Also, in front are some pedals for working out and a megaphone to call for anything you need. Wow. Can anyone say overkill?
Did you hear about the constipated composer?
He couldn't finish the last movement.
To continue our rear end theme, here is a new fad across the good ole US of A: Butt facials. Have you had your hiney cleansed and exfoliated recently? I think that's enough said, don't you?
Incontinence Hotline...Can you hold, please?
I was trying to Google these fancy toilets in Japan that someone mentioned, but came across this instead: bidets for the new Boeings 787. Yikes. I'm not sure what I think about that. I'm all for cleanlyness but...
Well, did you hear about the constipated accountant?
He couldn't budget.
Did you know there is a toilet newsletter out there? They advertise as "World Bathroom and Toilet News and Etiquette." While reading this (yes, I can't sleep tonight), I learned about a resturant in Taiwan that has toilet chairs, urinal sconces, and even commode shaped serving pieces. Very unusual to say the least. I also read about something called the Dunny Derby, an Australian contest where 20 teams race around a track trying to be the fastest, and also to have the best looking dunny. Apparently dunny is the term for an outdoor toilet downunder. I like that term. I may start calling my toilet the dunny...
If you're an American when you go into the bathroom, and an American when you come out, what are you when you're in the bathroom?
Eur-o-pean.
Ok, enough for now. I promise my next post will contain much less potty humor.

That souped up bathroom reminds me of the TV show Home Improvement where in one episode Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor came up with the "Man's Bathroom". It was all decked out so that a guy would never have to leave it. They went on to do other "Man" things, like the Man's Kitchen and some others. Pretty funny stuff.
Oh, Irene, you're right! I forgot about the Man's bathroom. I do remember the Man's Kitchen. We are HUGE Home Improvement fans around here. Tim the Tool Man is HILARIOUS!! It's such a great family show.
one of my friends taught English in Taiwan last year, and she ate at that restaurant..I've seen pictures! The curry didn't look too appetizing in the little toilet, nor did the soft-serve icecream in the squatter platters.
In my husbands modern technology class, they learned about a new potty that sprays like a bidet, then it dries your bum with a warming fan, plus it has a remote! Very interesting.
I think I need a 'butt facial' from too much sitting at the computer. LOL
And btw, what WAS cooking in the pot?????
Isn't it a bummer that LOST is on a break. :(
I saw pictures of that toilet restaurant also, Tearese, and it was pretty hilarious looking. I could see how food could be slightly unappetizing in those kinds of dishes.
In Japan they have toilets with seat warmers, a little remote control on the side that will play noises and music to over any "embarrassing" noises that might occur. lol
Crystalchick, I could use a butt facial also...maybe. Seems a bit more intimate than a regular massage though. I am totally missing LOST! I'm trying to find a picture of the finished product of what was cooking in the pot, then I'll post it. Sorry for the suspense...
Funny stuff...that is definitely a man's toilet!!! LOL
I agree, Crazy4danes!! Maybe we need to get to work designing a woman's toilet. It needs to come with a massage chair back, a personal nail and pedicure manicurist...hmmm...what else?
Dunny is a good substitute word. I just about died over your jokes. No, I hadn't heard any of them before. :)
I was cracking up typing those potty jokes. Sad, but true. A little potty humor goes a long way...
I like the word Dunny too.
Thanks for coming by, Blue Castle.
