Funkity Funkalistic Funk

I'm in a funk.

So, while I complain, I'm going to share funky photos from
one of my favorite places to take pictures:

Third Monday Trade Days.

I'm sick of all my clothes.

I want new clothes.

Comfortable, black clothes.

I'm sick of my hair.

I'm ready to chop it.

It's way too long and crazy.

All I seem to do is work and sleep.

I need to take some time off this weekend (how far away is the weekend?)
to recharge doing creative things.

Like take photos.

and blog.

I'm grouchy.

How do you get out of your funk?

Well...lately I eat but that's really not a good idea.

I bake. Sometimes I bake and then give it to other people so they can enjoy something. Sharing good stuff with others is a great pick me up.

Two words. Retail Therapy.

Of course, a salon day always helps too!

Do something OUTSIDE. Fresh air works wonders.

I'm in a major funk right now and have no idea what to do about it.
For the most part, things are good with my hubby and kids, so for that I'm thankful. I even have a new granddaughter so that's really wonderful.
But it's more stuff with myself that is upsetting me lately and I can't seem to find a good balance of emotions. I'm easily annoyed. A few health things are getting to me. The weather. A couple of situations with friends. ETC.
Haven't found any solutions yet.
I'm thinking an afternoon bottle ... errr, I mean glass of wine might help. ;)

Hope you get out of your funk. Good pictures!

I eat chocolate and drink wine...course...I do that when I am happy to. Does that make me an emotional eater?

I wish I knew how to get out of the funk... I've been there for quite awhile now.
Like you, I feel like all I do is work and sleep. I feel like I'm working my life away, and don't have to the time to enjoy the things which are the reason why I work so hard!

Sometimes, to keep out of a mild funk, I will drive a different way to work and stop for a cup of coffee. I make coffee at home, but buying a cup makes my morning feel a little special.

For bigger funks, I will take a heavy duty trash bag and go around my house filling it with junk that just needs to be given away. The bag goes to Goodwill immediately!

It's been a few days now...hope your cloud has lifted.
