Not my grocery list

I'm going to share with you my 12 yr old, Donny's, grocery list.

He wants:

1. frozen pizzas
2. fedachiny
3. swedish meet balls
4. chips for lunch
5. sweet snack surprises
6. Izzys
7. mug rootbeers

Does that cover all the food groups?
I'm thinking we need to work on nutrition...and spelling.

What do your kids like best from the grocery store?

  1. Mine like anything they can pop into the microwave. They get tired of waiting on me to cook. LOL

  2. Junk, junk and more junk. That is all they'd eat if I let them.

  3. Dude, I love me some fedachiny, too.

I will now spell it this way for the rest of my life. Amen.

  5. "Fedachiny" is so awesome. I wonder why we don't just spell everything phonetically. It would make life so much easier.

My kids would never leave the cracker/cookie aisle if they were in charge of the shopping.

  6. Candy and gum.

But, on the flip side, edamame and granny smith apples.

    It evens out. Eventually. Hopefully.

  8. I don't have kids but I've had some bfs with more childish requests. I say teach him spelling by telling him you will indeed buy the things he takes the effort(and dictionary) to spell correctly, and you will not buy the things spelled incorrectly. ~Mary

  9. Dr Pepper, goldfish, pepperoni, and potatoes. My daughter would eat baked potatoes all the time if I'd let her.

  22. Hot cheetos for my son or cheese cheetos for my daughter!!

Cheney spelled "masketoe" for mosquito this weekend. It made me smile!!

  23. Fedachiny! I love it!
My kids would prefer Chef Boyardee and lots of candy. But I'm way too mean for that!

  24. LOL! That's funny! Mine are pretty versatile because Mommy likes to cook, and they're half-grown, but their faves are yogurt, Hamburger Helper, and cereal!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and welcoming me to SITS! I hope to form many lifelong relationships here.

  25. That looks like my list...okay, just kidding.

Izzy always wants animal crackers...which I could pick something better, but that's not awful.

    Me, I always want candy!!

  26. What the heck are Izzys?
Mikayla LOVES rootbeer, but she's only allowed to have soda once in a while. Sometimes I buy those tiny 6 oz cans for her to have here and there.
Both girls love Little Debbie snacks.
    And cheese doodles!
