Last week, Annie went to the Vet for a checkup...and stayed the day for a Spa Day.
She was signed up for a wash, nail trim, ear clean, etc.
And when I dropped her off,
I left a disposable camera with her,
with instructions to the vet techs to photograph the experience.
They probably thought I was a little strange.
But, they did it!
The photo quality wasn't the best, due to the disposable camera.
So, here we go!!

Oh Annie - you look absolutely divine! But, ummmm, Annie? We have to talk... you know I ♥ you and all, right? But, Annie - seriously? A Retriever who doesn't like water???
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you made me wait a week for these damn pictures. I love the first one... her nose looks HUGE! What the HELL was that vacuum-looking machine doing in the shower????????
ReplyDeleteAnnie looks just beautiful, and if I'm not mistaken, they were using a Furminator on her! I'm getting one of those!
Justine :o )
LOL I love the nose shot! All the photos were great.
ReplyDeleteMy dog got a furcut today ... c'mon over and check it out!
ReplyDeleteI played too :)
From the momma of two pink-nosed fur babies, I say, GORGEOUS, ANNIE!
ReplyDeleteI'll try to get more shots of mine... the terrier mix is pretty compliant, but the Chiahuahua disaster is well.... a turd sandwich.
Oh Annie, how great that you got a day at the spa. I know, I know its hard having the camera in your face but you are a star and we love you!
ReplyDeleteWhat will they think of next? I glad your dog enjoyed the day at the spa.
ReplyDeletewow! your dog is so lucky to have a spa. She is so cute and adorable.
ReplyDeleteHow adorable!!! I'm going to have to steal this idea from you - So sweet!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wondeful photo essay of Annie's grooming day! Nice job.
ReplyDeleteMy post is on my photoblog: Carletta’s Captures.

ReplyDeleteAnnie is so cute... even when she is hating the water! Now I'm hooked on Camera Critters too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute post! I really do think we need to get Annie and my SIL's Lab, Moses, together...at least for a cyber-confab.
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool that they took photos for you! What a fun post!
ReplyDeleteOh how cute! I bet the techs got a kick out of taking the pics, lol!
ReplyDeleteSo cute to see her get her day of pampering!
ReplyDeleteAnnie & Rhea!
ReplyDeleteCan I join in? What a fun spa day. Although was it followed by a case of the zoomies?
NOrwood
That's so cool that your vet was such a good sport in taking those pics. As always, Annie is the cutest!
ReplyDeleteAnnie, I like a good brushing too. ;o)
ReplyDeleteI could use a spa day too!! Annie is very beautiful!!

ReplyDeleteI need a spa day!!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of Annie a@ the spa! I miss not having a doogie anymore. Thanks for visting my blog. I am on vacation and trying to catch up w/ all my hello's. I was raised in NM, so I miss the southwest. Of course, in NM, we always laffed about the Texans being a "country" unto themselves, but marveled at how they loved to come into NM to buy out all of our property in the Land of Enchantment! You didn't do that, didja? LOL anyway, will read more of ya when I get back. til then, Sue
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to have the whole event photographed! Annie is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you left them a camera to take pictures! You crack me up!!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea! The first photo has to be my favorite though. :)

ReplyDeleteOh what a lucky dog. Lovely retriever! Thanks for checking mine.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, Annie looked like she was having a great time. Photos are great too. She's a very beautiful dog.
ReplyDeleteOnce in a while you have to be pampered in a beauty saloon ! the result is wonderful ! compliments (smile*)
ReplyDelete=O Annie licks other people? I am shocked that she is so free with her love!
ReplyDeleteLOL Great pictures, how nice of them to be good sports about it.
I love the expression on her face in the shower. Hehehe.
ReplyDeleteWeird enough, if our labs see water they simply have to jump in, but if I want to give them a bath, they suddenly don't like water.
It would be lovely if our vet would provide such a wonderful service. I've never heard of a Dutch veterinary clinic annex beautysalon. Great idea though!
Very good idea to leave a camera & hurrah to them for using it! Very cute shots:)
ReplyDeleteHow clever of you to leave the camera to get photos you would otherwise not get!
ReplyDeleteLoved the picture telling story. Cute idea. And your pup looks Mah Va Lous
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! I would never have thought to leave a camera too. She looks mighty happy!
