We met when we were eleven years old, started dating at 14 & married at 19.





Here we are at around 17 years old at our high school in Austin, Texas.

  7. That's really cool. Lisa and I have been together for more than half our lives now, over 22 years.

    When you can fall in love with your friend it makes a big difference.

    I was a senior when I met my sweetie and by the time I graduated we were very serious and married a few months after graduation.
    Twenty five years later.... OMG, has it been 25 years together already?

    OhMommy - Thanks! We were young. We had planned on waiting until we graduated from college to get married but certain "things" popped up and changed those plans.

  18. awe, nice picture. I know a few people who married hs sweehearts, but not many. I met my Hubby when I was 25 and we got engaged after one month, and were engaged for four months.

  20. Indy - Time flies, that's for sure. My son is almost the age I was when I met hubby for the first time. Yikes!!

    skeller/Susan - I think I learned from the master of little words, beautiful photos! lol You've inspired me...but I don't last long without lots of words...it's the writer in my tryin' to bust out. hehe

    Misty Dawn - Thanks! I hope my hubby and I are long lasting. We've had some rocky ups and downs, that's for sure. Marriage is not simple and easy.

    Tearese - We were warned we weren't going to make it marrying at such a young age...so far so good... Wow, engaged after one month and married in four? That's super fast! I'm amazed. I guess you both knew what you wanted. lol I'll come check out your picture in just a few minutes.

  23. This is a GREAT story! Love the photos! I met my husband when I was 18 and he was 25. We got married a year later.. now 20 years later!

    Sometimes it is just supposed to BE! Here is to many more years!
