The frog does not drink up the pond in which he lives.

Camera Critters
It's Camera Critters Sunday!!! Misty Dawn came up with this wonderful idea to post critters, and since animals and cameras are two of my favorite things, I had no trouble jumping on the bandwagon. Without further ado...here are some critter photos my mother took yesterday:

First, it's camo-frog! Do you see him?

Then, next comes camo-frog 2

Camo-frog-wanna-be

This frog's just chillin'

Last, but not least, confrontational frog

  6. Great layout and cool frogs. I'm getting ready to go on vacation so I've been sitting here 'pre'posting the next few weeks and I did frogs for 2 weeks for now from my sister's pond last November in CA.

  9. Frogs are my favourite creature after cats. We finally found where the very loud sounds were coming from in the Botanic Gardens near us: some gorgeous little red frogs enjoying the tropical climate.
I love your photos. They are so perfect.

  10. Hi Rhea,
This is a fun post - that last one is great.
I have scrolled down your blog and love the big barn, the green fence, .....a nice blog.
I have a friend in Clute, Texas.

Thanks for stopping by and seeing me.

  11. Cool frogs. Even with the creek in the back...we don't see too many frogs. Toads are more likely. And then in the summer with the rains you can *hear* them...but I cannot figure out where they are. Maybe in our gutters? We love it when we go to the beach and the tree frogs "adhere" themselves to the glass doors. Very cool!

Valarie - I'm partial to frogs too. They're pretty cute.

Lorna - I'd love to see the red frogs, too cool! Thanks!

Carletta - I don't know where Clute is, but I'm going to look it up! There are so many small towns around the big metro cities.

Kat - The invisible toads, huh? Maybe you're only hearing them in your head. hehe Just kidding!

    Babooshka - Thanks!

  15. VBF - Oh, goody, I'm glad you love em...I'm so worried about you and your ruptured cyst. I hope you're ok!

David - Thanks! My mom actually took these photos. She and I are total photography nuts. She had the best montage of frogs though, so I asked to upload her photos this time. Normally I just share mine.

Vader's Mom - Thanks for coming by! My camo frogs mimic your hiding Vader photo, huh? lol

  18. Good series of pictures! Better see this little critters in pictures than for real! They really scare me! Just as many bugs.
I showed the pictures to my children, they just look like those pictures in animal books.

  19. Katney - Thanks! I took similar pictures myself, but my mom got the most variety, so I used her photos. She came up with the idea for the captions too.

Gattina - I know, pretty cool camo, huh?

Stine - Thanks! I love frogs.

Catherine - I'm surprised your scared of frogs. They seem pretty harmless to me, but then again, we all have our different hears. Spiders and snakes freak me out but not my sister!!
